File Under Well-Intentioned But Completely Bizarre Publicity Stunts
This strangely creepy photo just appeared in my inbox, as part of an appeal to raise awareness of the need for access to early childhood education in Minnesota. The idea is that you blindfold yourself and take a photo of yourself with a kid, “to show our lawmakers that without a quality rating system, they are leaving all Minnesota families in the dark when it comes to making a smart decision for their children.”
The photos are collected on a website. This caring adult went for the stylish bandana approach.

Please, Minnesota legislators, do whatever needs to be done to get these kids into preschool. Their caretakers are losing it.
