Today’s scan from the archives: the complete existing documentation from my attempt at writing a Transformers choose-your-own-adventure story based on the role-playing game I’d invented. I like the passive voice: “In 1988, the system was deemed overly simple.” By, you know, people. All the people. Those people. Me.
Typical of my big ideas, this one petered out only two paragraphs in. But what vibrant paragraphs! “Finally he strikes, but Quicksteel sings sure and true, and the test droid loses its upper torso.”
Damn it! I was supposed to see Optimus Prime today.
